Jesus at the Gym // Another Look at Acts 1:8
Recently, I had this moment when I felt like God challenged me about where I’m willing to show my faith. It was just a strange little moment on a treadmill with a communion cup, but it really got me thinking. I have no problem taking communion at church; I don’t even struggle to lead communion at church. However, taking communion at Planet Fitness? I’m not so sure about that! WWJD!
I share the story in this podcast "Jesus at the Gym”. Of course, the communion cup is symbolic in this story, but I think it begs the question about how clearly we're willing to show our faith. In Acts 1:8, Jesus said: "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." What does this practically look like? Well, I hope you’ll listen and think about where YOU are willing to take Jesus.
Be encouraged! Tosha ❤️
