Destinations Decisions: Bad Habits or Good Health? // Breaking Bad and Choosing Good
As we continue in the "Destination Decisions" series, in this episode we come to a very practical truth. In Scripture, the Apostle John prayed for his friend Gaius, “Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.” 3 John 1:2
Truth is, he could pray this because God is not just concerned about our souls; He cares about our physical lives, too. Sometimes we squander good health with bad habits. Instead of taking care of the bodies God gave us, we eat unhealthy food, abuse harmful substances, live promiscuously or engage whatever we desire. These bad habits lead the opposite destination of good health! God’s path is for us to take care of our bodies.
Let this podcast episode spur you on to think about different areas in your life. Are you setting your trajectory for bad habits or good health? As you "Seek Him" about what He has to say to you through His Word, be sure to "Speak Him" into the lives of those He has entrusted to you!
